The apps don’t require an account. Their default features run in your browser. Loading this website still connects to our hosting provider, which receives ordinary web-request information such as your IP address and the page requested.
Saved tasks and activities
Task Breaker, Three-Pile System, and Dopamine Menu use this browser’s local storage for your plans, tasks, activities, and check-ins. These records don’t sync to another browser or device. This site’s app code doesn’t transmit those saved records to our servers.
Local storage isn’t a private account or encrypted vault. Someone with access to your browser profile could read it. Clearing this site’s browser data removes saved records. Private browsing, storage limits, or browser settings can prevent saving. Use the download controls to keep a copy of something important.
Crisis Protocol
The choices in a reset stay only in the open page. They aren’t written to browser storage or sent by the app to a server. Reloading or closing the page clears the reset. If you copy a suggested message, it is placed on your device’s clipboard at your request.
Optional online Task Breaker
Task Breaker uses a built-in guide by default. If you select “Use an online breakdown,” your task text is sent through a Netlify function to Anthropic’s API to request steps. The function also uses the connection IP for request limits. It doesn’t intentionally write the task or result to an application database or log their contents.
Hosting and AI providers process requests under their own terms and policies. We don’t promise that a provider retains nothing. Don’t include information you don’t want a third party to process. Read Anthropic’s privacy information and Netlify’s privacy policy.
If the online request fails or is limited, the app uses the built-in guide and tells you. The result can still be saved locally.
Preferences and timers
The “Less motion” setting saves a browser preference. The optional break timer runs in the open page and isn’t saved across reloads. It doesn’t request notification permissions.
Forms, email, and other sites
If you request a download through a form on this site, the details you submit are processed by our hosting provider’s form service and relevant email tools. An email you choose to send to us contains the information you include. Links to the Starter Kit, shop, social platforms, and support services open other services with their own privacy practices.
For a deletion request concerning information you submitted to us, email matt@authenticmessstudios.com. We can’t remotely retrieve or erase a board stored only in your browser.
Analytics
The production site uses Google Analytics to measure visits and general website use. The website code doesn’t install an advertising pixel or send task text, reset answers, activities, or form contents to analytics. The download form can report a successful submission event to an existing analytics integration, if one is present, with the form’s name only. Hosting providers may maintain traffic and security logs.
