        About this tool

        What it is

A triage board with three columns and one rule: HOT never holds more than three tasks. Everything else waits in WARM or COLD until a HOT slot opens.

        What it won’t do

No due dates, no reminders, no subtasks, no projects. It won’t sync between your phone and your laptop, because it saves to this browser and nowhere else.

        Why it works

ADHD brains routinely confuse anxiety with urgency, so every task reads as HOT. A hard cap of three forces the comparison your brain won’t make on its own: is this more urgent than the three things already there?

        Questions

Why can HOT only hold three?

Because a list of nine urgent things isn’t a priority list, it’s the same overwhelm in a nicer font. Three forces the comparison your brain avoids: is this more urgent than the three already there?

What if something really is a fourth emergency?

Then something in HOT wasn’t one. Move it to WARM. The cap is doing its job at exactly that moment.

Does this sync to my phone?

No. It saves in this browser and nowhere else, because there’s no account and no server. Use Export or Print if you need it somewhere else.

How does it guess the pile?

It reads your wording for deadline language and someday language. It runs on your device, sends nothing anywhere, and it’s a suggestion you can overrule with one click.
